Fees
Individual Therapy
Individual sessions are approximately 50 minutes in duration and are charged at $245 per session.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is charged at $200 per 50 minute session.
Cancellation Fees
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible. The following cancellation policy is in place so that the appointment time may be offered to another person in need.
A 50% cancellation fee will occur for cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time. If you do not attend your appointment and do not provide notice of cancellation a full appointment fee will be charged.
It is understandable that sometimes you may be unable to attend your appointment because of sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency. If this is the case, please contact Caitlin as soon as possible.
Rebates
Medicare
To access the Medicare rebate for Clinical Psychology services, individuals must obtain a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their general practitioner (GP) or medical specialist. This referral outlines the individual's mental health needs and treatment goals. A Medicare rebate of $131.65 is available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
Private Health
Private health insurance in Australia often offers rebates for clinical psychology services. This rebate can provide individuals with an additional financial benefit when seeking private psychological treatment.
The specific rebate amount and coverage will vary across private health insurance providers, plans, and level of coverage. It is important that you review your policy and understand the details of your mental health coverage, including any limitations or waiting periods that may apply.
Please note that rebates from Medicare and Private Health Insurance can not be used concurrently.
